Boko Haram Reportedly Slit The Throats Of 10 Fishermen In Villages Near Baga

Speaking to AFP today, Abubakar Gamandi, head of the fishermen’s union in Borno State said,
“On Monday around 4 pm, Boko Haram attacked three villages on the shores of Lake Chad where they slaughtered 10 people, all of them fishermen.”

The report was further confirmed by a local fisherman, Buhari Dan-Malam.

Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State has Directed the Civilian JTF in Konduga to hand over the four Boko Haram terrorists they arrested in Malari village to security agents. Shettima, who stated this while receiving thousands of villagers displaced by the boko haram insurgents, also announced a donation of N3 Million to the IDPs from Malari village and Konduga town.
