Sierra Leone’s Last Ebola Patient Discharged

Five months after a man traveled to his home village for festivities marking the end of Ramadan, and died suddenly from Ebola, but now President Koroma came to cut down the fencing to mark the formal end of Sierra Leone's largest remaining Ebola quarantine.

Reports reaching us indicate that the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Adamu Mu’azu has resigned as the national chairman. This comes after several bigwigs of the party blamed him for Jonathan’s defeat at the poll and demanded his resignation. In a report published by This day, his resignation took effect immediately. Adamu Mu’azu Reports also indicate that President Goodluck Jonathan has asked the chairman of PDP Board of Trustees (BoT), Chief Anthony Anenih to resign his office as the BOT chairman. But it is not  known whether Anenih has accepted to resign or not.
